Yeah. "Lady" on the right is actually male. |
Alright, I'll give you a chance. What do you mean?
In several Anime, you sometimes come across cross-dressing characters. That's mainly what I mean. Male characters who cross-dress are hot. Simple as that. But I in no way find guys sexually attractive, Anime or real-life... m
Elaborate on "That's mainly what I mean."
It's not really all cross-dressers. Just the ones that look just like girls. The fact that they're actually guys makes it hotter than your typical hot Anime girl. Maybe this hidden fetish, so to speak, assisted in why I always want to keep my hair long and whatnot. But that's besides the point.
Any Examples in Particular?
Yes, actually. I have several examples that many other guys could probably agree with me on. I'll list them according to release date.
(Note that there are dozens of other cross-dressing events. I only listed some in only a couple of Anime.)
Jun (Side Character) from Happiness! Note: (OVA) I actually watched this series solely to see him. No joke. |
Hayate (Main Character) from Hayate no Gotoku! Note: (Ep39) He cross-dressed several times in the series. Difference is, he is always forced. |
(Blue Haired "Girl") Natsuru (Main Character) from Kampfer. Note: The only one that didn't involve cross dressing, in a sense. Don't feel like SS-ing for this. |
Maria (Main Character) from Maria Holic. Note: (Ep1) Series was great, in my opinion. Maria made it lovelier. |
Hideyoshi (Side Character) from Baka to Test - Shoukanjuu. Note: (Ep10) Hideyoshi always made things funnier, and well... hotter. |
Liszt (Side Character) from Ookami-san Shichinin no Nakama-tachi. Note: (Ep3) You didn't see him cross-dress much, but boy was he adorable. |
Same as first image: Tatsukichi (Side Character) from MM! Note: (Ep2) Series is one of my favorites. I loved all of the characters. |
(School Uniform in Middle) Nitori (Main Character) from Hourou Musuko. Note: (Ep1) I honestly loved this series the most because of him. |
Ringo-sensei (Side Character, Teacher) from Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE 1000%. Note: (Ep1) Ringo made everything livelier in this series. He's so girly, it's adorable. With his pink hair and whatnot! |
To go in-depth:
- Jun is defined by his cross-dressing. "The city's hottest girl is actually a guy" -how Jun was introduced by the narrator.
- Hayate was always forced into it. That one episode, he was in a trance.
- Natsuru is technically forced into it. He didn't choose to participate.
- Maria's reasoning is a spoiler, so I'll avoid it.
- Hideyoshi is seen as a girl by everyone, so they often trick/force him into female attire.
- Liszt's skill is cross-dressing. I wouldn't say it's his hobby, though.
- Tatsukichi does it as a hobby, and pressured into it other times.
- Nitori does it as a hobby as well, and also pressured into it other times.
- Ringo-sensei is defined by it, just like Jun.
The thing is, if a female character had the personality of either of these males, I would probably not even give a damn, for it'd be just another female character to me. If Maria was actually a girl (cough), he would no longer be as hot as he is now. Same for Jun, Tatsukichi, and the others. Well, maybe Liszt would still be freaking adorable.
On a different note, they're all slightly different, as I explained in the bullet-points above.
So then what do you mean?
I like cross dressing guys in Anime only. I find the character to be hotter and/or more adorable this way. I can't say I disapprove of it, rather, I'm okay with it if the person cross dressing can pull it off. Plus, I've done it thrice, so I can't say shit about it.
Tarou (Main Character) also from MM! Note: (Ep8) If you watch the episode, you'll understand the situation. CUTE THOUGH, RIGHT? |
In conclusion, I am not gay, bi, or bicurious. I am a straight male who happens to look like a female, but sound like a male. It's just, what the hell do you call a guy who finds other successful cross dressing males hot (rarely in real life; can't think of any in real life), but definitely sexually attracted to females? Which is the explanation of the post title.
Lastly, as the urban-dictionary definition I linked states, cross-dressers aren't necessarily LGBT. To clarify, I'm not a cross-dresser, but I have cross-dressed.I can damn well pull it off almost perfectly, though.

I agree. I'm a fan of cross dressing anime's, I've seen MM!, Kampfer and Hayate and been meaning to check the others you've listed out. I like Ouran (though its a girl cross dressing rather than a guy..) and theres scenes in KaichÅ wa Maid-sama! and I my me strawberry eggs is one of my favourites. I'm reading tenshi ja nai! (a idol at a prestigious school is a cross dresser). Its not that I'm a cross dress fanatic, I suppose i like themes shunned my western culture, maybe why i like yaoi and yuri aswell... But i like guys that cross dressing animes they're cuter(Im not gay or anything, I'm a girl :3).. I suppose since they have a hidden side only the viewer and a few main characters get to see.
ReplyDeleteAgreed on most of your comment!
ReplyDeleteJun is definitely a guy. It's just an animation mistake if things point towards more feminine physical traits. That is, assuming that's what you're getting at. I believe the same thing happened in "Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru" where they made a mistake and gave the crossdressing main character actual breasts.
I too, am a dude who is straight. This post was just meant to stress my "fetish," so to speak.
You've cross-dressed three times and not posted pictures?
ReplyDeleteI'll show you mine if you show me yours. Foo'.
Dude... just admit it. You've got a thing for cute guys, that makes you bi. ;)
